2 years out yesterday

Just a quick note to say thanks--thanks to you all for your care and support over the last two years~!

Today I am down to about 138, with a BMI of 22.3. I exercise five days a week for the most part. I get up at 5 to go to the gym--and even though I can't say I jump out of bed, it has become part of who I am--and I don't like it when I can't go. I'm very committed to my routine.

I still struggle with the food devils. I don't dump---although I do have hypoglycemic episodes if I don't eat enough protein for breakfast. I just try to survive them and keep it in check. Most days I feel moslty in control, some days the devils win, but all in all I'm much strogner than I was.

I am hopeful that I will be able to maintain forever, but not naiive enough to think it's a sure thing.

Best of luck to us all!

Congratulation!  I am almost 3 years out and know how hard it is to fight those devils.  Yesterday I had one of those days!  Hang in there and God bless, Penni

Congratulations on your success! I really admire that you get up early and go to the gym every day. I need to do the same and haven't managed to yet. Thanks for the inspiration!

Well said Kim.....Congratulations on your 2 year anniversary.  You look beautiful and confident.  Keep up the good work.  I just celebrated my two year anniversary on August 28th.  I too admire you for getting up at 5:00 a.m. to go exercise.  WOW! What determination you have.  That is definately an accomplishment in itself!  Big Hugs to you.

Congrats to you!  I admire your dedication to the gym every day.  I was doing that too, but just had TT so I am not cleared to going back to exercise yet.  I miss it.  It is people like you that give me lots of encouragement.  Thanks so much for sharing your journey.  I wish you continued success,  and happiness!
