I was doing pretty good for the first few weeks and then I totally got off of track by coming down sick last week :( and I'm still not feeling all that great right now either but I'm going to get my butt on my treadmill here in a bit and walk/run. I've been trying to walk for five minutes and then run for two to try and build my body up to it slowly. My short term goal with this is to eventually make the 1.5 mile run for my physical agility test for work in less than 16 minutes. When I was 256 lbs, my time was 28 minutes (how embarassing I was the last person to finish). I want to say that when I did the run 6 months ago, I was at 18:18 and I finished somewhere in the middle. Then, when I was finished I went and helped a friend finish so she didn't feel so bad that she was last. I really want to make and complete a 5 k run just so I can prove to myself I can do it (I can walk it but it would be a major major accomplishment if I could run it). When my dad was alive he ran every single day and my mom did too but had to stop when her knees wouldn't let her do it anymore. I've never been a runner but too, I've never really tried. Thanks for putting this goal together :) It's nice to have support and someone to talk to about it. It looks like you are doing fabulous!! GREAT JOB!!!!!!!
Taking one day at a time.
