I hope you will post and give us an overview on the doctor's presentation.  I think it would be for newbies, as well as those of us, who are further out.  Thanks for your consideration.

Dr. Thomas Bass gave a lengthy presentation on Long Term Issues for WLS patients. It was very good. The most important points that he brought out were:
1.  if you have pain, call your doctor
2. if you go to the doctor make sure they do a CAT scan and not just an x-ray.
3. always try to go to a hospital that has a bariatric surgery program
4. pay attention to your body.

There are many things that can cause a bariatric patient pain. You must listen to your body and be pro active in getting the proper health care. Ignoring a problem can be a fatal mistake.

If you have the opportunity try to get to a conference or program where a surgeon is doing this presentation.
