1 Year on September 13, 2008
I am one year and a day today. I was wondering what vitamins are you guys trying now. I'm taking centrium twice a day, citracal 3 times a day and liquid b12 once a day. what is everyone else taking?
After giving blood work at your doctors appointment. have your vitamin level changed after one year.I hear of some people being deficient and start to have problems after one year.
Any advise would be great.

I have my annual appointment in the next mo., so I'll see how I'm doing (4 yrs. post-op). I fall into the category of taking vitamins . . . but not as religiously as I should. Not horrible, but not great.
What I aim for daily is 2 Centrum Chewables & 1200 mg of cal citrate + D + magnes.(various forms & brands--sometime liquid, sometimes dry UpCal D, sometimes Cal Cit Petites). I also take B12 subling. a couple times a week (1000 mcg each time). Since my folate level was very low a year ago, I've been taking folic acid every day. So far, this is all I've been specifically instructed to take, so we'll see how my labs turn out in a month.
Congrats on your 1-yr. anniversary!!
