Thursday accountability - what did you eat today?
do research so you can know for yourself that it is true. vitalady.com (michelle) talks alot about the importance of protein. Also on my profile is a link to a yahoo group about protein. These ladies are 15+ yrs out. lived it and done the research. Basically, we have a malabsorption surgery, that is why we need to test our blood and take mega vitamins. we don't absorb protein and foods well because they pass too quickly through our intestines, especially because it bipasses the initial part. So when y ou drink whey protein, in an already broken down form your body quickly absorbs it. Makes a big difference. I wish I could get the nutritionalists and docs to come to an agreement!!!

Again, a good day for me. The scale is moving-what a relief! On Aug. 26 I was 191. Today I am 185. So, in 2 1/2 weeks of eating low carb I've lost 6 lbs. Yay, me! My size 10 pants are much more comfortable now.
Crustless hamburger-cheddar quiche, 1 ketchup packet
1 coffee, 2 americanos, with half and half
2 protein drinks-champion whey stack chocolate
Chicken curry with cabbage and 3 Tbls Greek yogurt, 1 1/2 cups
Beef/cabbage/tomato/yam soup, with 1.6 oz shredded cheddar (yep, I have a food scale)
Calories: 1,162
Protein: 115g
Carbs: 41g

l roast with 1 small potato, cabbage, carrots

d 1 cup of spaghetti with half cup of meat sauce
s pretzels dipped in one tablespoon of peanut butter
s protein coffee
s popcorn with butter on it (ooops)
