has anyone here tried the 5 day pouch test?

If you drink 3 shakes per day you get in anywhere from 60-90 grams of protein, so yes the shakes are necessary to keep your protein intake up.

I did 2-3 shakes per day, 2 cups of soup (I made 1/2 of the recipe for both the split pea and ham and the cheese and ham, IMO the split pea is much better, I would actually say it is good).  Then I've had a s/f jello (or 2) and yesterday had a s/f pudding too.  Today was chicken salad for lunch, tuna salad for dinner along with 1 shake and 1 s/f jello, I may add another shake before bed, I'm just really not hungry today.

I am already feeling much better and the restriction of feeling of my pouch that I hoped to accomplish :).

Good Luck!

Thanks for sharing your menu.  I'll have to go and pick up some protein powder.  I got rid of it all when I went to full foods.  I'll be away for the weekend, so I think I'm going to start it on Monday!!
