Did You Move To Lose Today?
Hey Everyone
How's it going? I know most of you are getting the kids ready for school. I can't believe it's that time already and summer is almost over. Use this task to Move and Lose. Load up that cart and pu**** up and down each isle rather you are shopping there or not. Ok, if you have the kids in tow that may be a challenge
Use your bags and do some bicep curls.
So my friends, Did You Move To Lose and or Maintain Today? Rocky and I have walked the lake this morning and the Y is featuring a training for a 5k run. My knees are bad but I am going to participate in the training and will be posting here to share with those that have this on their list of things to do while losing and or when you hit goal.
How are the new goals going? My water is good, food not so good and slowly getting back to my working out level that I was at months ago
Stay Strong, Sexy and Sassy
Take care,
Kathy

I managed to get my big 'un out of bed early this morning and did a pretty good workout. I did a couple of tapes - The Firm Tough Tape (about 45 minutes) and then one of the 5-Day Abs (about 10 minutes). So tomorrow will be all cardio. These tapes are getting very easy and I don't get sore anymore. Should I try something harder? I can't lift much heavier weights - I'm using 10 pounds in each hand and those deltoid & shoulder exercises are pretty tough (now lift and pulse 3 times). Ouch. But my stomach & legs just don't seem to be getting enough. I noticed a new bulge close to my waist a few weeks back - it turned out to be an "oblique." Didn't know I had such a thing.
Hi Wanda,
How many sets and reps are you doing? If you are doing 2 sets of 8 reps, try doing 3 sets of 8 and or 3 sets of 12 or 15. At some point you will want to increase your weight and lower the number of reps and sets.
Here is a link to a great site that gives you examples of great exercises for working out.

Hello All,
I have been slacking off with the exercising but I'm trying to get back on track, and get the scale moving again. This morning I did curls and arm lifts with my 5 pounder's, and squats. Rode the ellipical trainer bike for 5 minutes. I also took Duchess (my ****er) for a 20 minute brisk walk this morning before showering and getting ready for work. I hope this will give me more incentive to keep going with my exercise program. I must say it did make me feel pretty good. Moving away from the snacking and grazing a step in the right direction I'm sure.

Hi Dreamgirl,
What a great start
Remember how great you feel after working out, when you say you are to tired to workout. Be sure and journal and get your water in and come here and be accountable. We will help you stay on course and cheer you on
Take care,
Kathy

First post in a loooooooong time. I lost focus and let lots of bad habits back into my life, but that's a totally different post.
I DID MOVE TO LOSE yesterday for the first time in months. It was a 2 mile run/walk combo with my hubby. We plan on doing the same tonight. It may not be much, but it's a start. The added bonus is that it gives us some one on one time together without the television.
