I had a good day. Sorry to see that Florida is all duck and cover time...We have friends in Key West and haven't heard anything...Probably give a call later tonight.
6:00 am 10 oz coffee
6:30 am 1/3 cup oatmeal, 1/4 cup TVP, 1 cup soy milk
7:00 am 24 oz Walmart GV Drink Mix, Cranberry Apple
8:00 am 1 oz cheese stick, 1 pc honey roasted turkey ham lunch meat.
9:30 AM 1 small pear, 1 small peach, 1 cup grapes
10:30 am 1 cup rice pilaf, 6 oz cooked ground beef, ½ cup cooked frozen peas
11:30 am 24 oz Crystal Light Drink Mix, Raspberry Lemonade
1:00 pm 1 pkg Jello SF Rice Pudding Snac, 1 cup grapes
2:00 pm 24 oz Morning Spark Drink Mix, Grapefruit
3:00 pm 24 oz Crystal Light Drink Mix, Berry Lemonade
6:00 pm 5 oz grilled salmon, 1/2 cup cooked carrots, maybe a tablespoon of mashed potatoes.
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1812
Fat: 54.9
Carbs: 210
Protein: 127
I had no clue that grapes had so many carbs...Yikes. But they taste so good and the vines are FULL of them...The peach that I had was a better bet, home grown too but no 1/4 of the carbs...At least they'd be good carbs, right?

yes grapes are good carbs. I do think the type of carb makes a difference. Good day for you Dawn. I have to figure how to cut and paste daily plate so that it doesn't make a funny post. Oh well.
Don't give up! HOpe you are better rested today!

Actually the time list is something I email to myself all day long..reply and email with the times but then I post the food on fitday and just take the totals off of there from another internet window...Sometimes when I paste from the email to the message board the times don't line up and are all text wrapped so I go back in and edit the post to correct the left margin...OCD there.

woo-hoo to you for exercise and good eating!!
Yea, schools may be closed for two days. I have a portable generator and air conditioner if needed! Went and got milk and bread and gas today. Has been a few years since a hurricane, so we are due for one.
my legs have been swelling for t he past 3 weeks...humidity? Go figure. Not fun! I had this when I weighed 100 lbs more....oh well. This too will pass!

For breakfast I had 1 cup diced canteloupe with 1/2 cup reduced fat (1%) cottage cheese. Yeah tryijng to be SO good and APPROPRIATE.
(problem is my boyfriend who is a giant man who does not ever have to worry about calories, etc. has a giant cup of loaded ice cream in the freezer, who knows?? the cals/fat/sugar/protein etc. on that, so through the day I have 'Bites". I'd say 1/4 q cup total at the end of the day of the highest fat ice cream you can imagine. So through the day having grabbed bites here and there of the sliced cantelouple so I'd guess throw another 1/2's worth in there and 1/4 to 1/2 of actual ice cream.
I feel like Jack on Will and Grace somehow.
2 slices bacon (see this crap happens when I cook 'normal' food for my boyfriend, I end up cooking a little extra for myself or I'd end up sampling his fatty conconctions which would end up a caloric nightmare for everyone to figure out, (who can figure out 3 bites of a onion bagel sandwich with 4x the amount of Sandwich meat servings, a boatload of Velveeta, and maybe an egg or 2 or 3 slice of bacon serving,
Yeah you have got to be nutrionally disfunctionally or completely whacked out to get the servings from 2 bites or 3 bites, but dome on. God I wish his breakfast/lunch sandwiches didn't taste so good, but I feel a compulsion to have those couple of bites, ya know?? Ok maybe not. No, I will take those TWO bites and see what comes of it. If I could get everything else under control them maybe everhything else will come.
1/2 cinnimon raisen bagel with 2 T peanut butter
This is too fatty and made too appeaze, fits the 'gym owner' and not the 'nutrionist'.
4tortilla chips, very small, the size of your thumb
2 T homemade dressing of fresh diced tomato, fresh diced avacodo, 1 T fresh diced red onion, some lime juice, fresh squeezed
2 slices healthy grain Wonder "white" bread
1/4 slice tomato
1/8 slice avacado
1/12 slice red onion
1/2 % sugar free relish
1/
1 T reduced fat Hellman's many
This even though the longest ingredient list I don't imagine to be significant to anything, tell me if I am wrong,l I will listen., god damn it tastes so goodf, have you ever really and truly made this from scratch? You couldn't take a couple of hard corn chips and dip it into this and do well, whivh you well. So there.
In the afternoon I hardboilled 3 eggs. After those badboys were done and cooled I only added 2 T of Light Hellman's and 2 T of sugar free relish and a zon on cayenne and etc. but that doesn't count so I had One sandwich out of it, it's there for 2-morrow of so wanted. Better than any deli place, I can guarantee you that.

your post is so funny! Made me smile as I continued through your post! :)
Perhaps your boyfriend has to sugar free for a while till you get things under control. He can eat meals that you prepare that are fat free and more for someone with wls. If he really wants junk he can go to burger king.
my family had to adjust and still do to my new way of cooking because I will not let food control me again. So perhaps rethinking how you cook, and getting them to see that if they love you they will make the sacrifice. And there are oodles of great tasting foods wls appropriate!
Good to have you posting!!
