6 yrs ago today, I had a gastric bypass at Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC.  I had totally forgotten today was the day until my hospital roomate emailed me.  Its amazing how normal your life becomes that what was once so trial and error and such a process becomes mundane and normal.

However, onc must never forget the gift.  Thanks Dr Leitman.

Best thing I've ever done for myself next to the boob lift/reduction and my divorce!

I agree, one must never forget.  Yes it is amazing how time flies, and how normal things become.
Congratulations on everythings.  :o)

Congrats! It's always sooooo good to see people who are just enjoying their life long after WLS and not really needing to look back except to be grateful...

It's just good to know you all are out there!

Congratulations on your 6th surgiversary. It is great to hear from others further out and that they are living a normal life and not obsessing.

Yes , this surgery is a gift and one we all need to use wisely.
