thursday check in....
well today was a good day so far....we got some fantastic news that hubby's sister is getting married, the shock of it all is that it's next weekend! we were planning a visit there this weekend but i guess we'll hold off til the next weekend. i'm scared to go visit there now...every time we go there she drops a new bomb on us..first she was getting a divorce, then it was that she got a boob job, then it was she was dating this guy and was pregnant, and now they're getting married...geez she just got a divorce a month ago! crazy kids!! anyhow on to the important matter at hand...the exercise and carb control. here's my day

S-hard boiled egg
30 minutes leslie sansone's walk and kick (it's like kickboxing for dummies! i loved it)
L-tuna and cheese

D-penne pasta w/turkey italian sausage and shrimp (from the food network..so good) OH MINUS the penne pasta. i just put the sauce over a veggie. 1 slice of healthy life low carb whole grain bread
S-yogurt w/strawberries

I am no carbing it this week...the first two days were the hardest. I had let carbs take control but now I am getting back on track.

Well, I did great today up to the last few mins UGH.....
Breakfast - Protein supp
Workout at the gym - 3 miles on treadmill, Core class
Snack - Protein Fruit smoothie
Lunch - deviled eggs
Snack - LF string cheese, handful of almonds
Dinner - veggie, port stir fry
Snack - 1/3 cup of ice cream
I may have nore than 5 pounds to lose after that ice cream....

well you know we can't totally deprive ourselves of the good stuff...all things in moderation right??? sometimes i'll make something like these yummy black bean brownies and eat one then throw the rest away. just so i won't eat them...hubby won't touch them. i'm silly like that...sometimes i can convince myself that things taste nasty so i won't eat them and throw them away!! i was trying some of the advice that i got from mariella and i feel like i've been full all day and haven't really craved carbs too badly. i should have left out that slice of bread but it wasn't too bad for the day!!
oh and from your post about the hip hop video....i did have one and i got so lost...i'm not coordinated and i have no rhythmn...so i'll stick to the stuff i know best. i ended up selling that dvd on ebay! thanks for the idea though...
This will be my last post until Monday as hubby and I are leaving tomorrow going out of town for the weekend to celebrate my birthday and our 15 year anniversary. He planned everything right down to grandparents and friends keeping the kids. He has me a spa treatment set up for Saturday and dancing and dinner with some friends of ours Saturday night. My father/mother and grandparents gave me my birthday money so I could shop too. I am ready to go. I do plan on eating good while I am gone. I will let you guys know how I managed on Monday or Sunday night.

wow charlie...great day and congrats on the weight loss. i'd be happy if i could drop something! all i've lost is the bloat weight from when i was pms-ing. and i don't think i've even lost all that which scares me a little. i did switch up my routine a little and i'm gonna do something a little different today too. hopefully that'll help. i'm trying so hard i just don't get it!!
