For today..

I am grateful..For my co-workers..We have a sometimes very stressful work environment, both in the office and in the "field", and have to be very sensitive to the cares/needs of not only our patients/families, but also of each other. The loss of a patient is the loss of a PERSON--and often of a LOVED ONE. Our staff become very involved in the lives of the people we care for.

Today we have 3 back to back "necessary" meetings, so our owner has arranged a catered lunch, and a freezer full of popsicles. We have the fridge regularly stocked with water/tea, for when our staff comes for supplies, etc.

I am very proud of the people I work with and for.
