Good Morning!!!

Today is a brand new day, and be very thankful for it.  Not trying to be so philosophical, but last night I found out that one of my high school classmates died from cancer.  So so sad, as he was always full of life.  We have had other classmates to die, but this is one i****ting me hard.  Graduated from high school 40 years ago this year.

Not much new on the agenda other than the norm.  Have two showings, and Orkin wildlife management people are to be here.

Sorry for the loss of your classmate.  Makes a person think about their own mortality.  Crosses my mind every time I hear of an officer getting killed in the line of duty.  Not so much the ones who have a heart attack but the ones that get hit by cars when out of a traffic stop or by felonious assault, to wit stabbed or shot.  All they did was go to work like they had done hundreds of times before and came home safely.  That day they didn't.

Speaking of which another day of "fighting crime by fighting grime".  Trying to get in early to beat some of the heat.  Heat, humidity and body armor is a lousy combination.   Boss wants me to tighten up on some of my "problem children" this week. 

Good look on your showings and getting the unwelcome house guest out of your vent pipe.

Good morning!! Whirlwind weekend over, so I can go back to work and get some rest! Whew... Class reunion Saturday night was a blast...I remember MOST of what all happened...my sister promised to have her pictures tagged and on FB by this afternoon, as will the other people, who weren't "able" yesterday. The party was due to last until 4am-we left at 11pm, I think-so I'm sure WAY more happened!!

Yesterday was a family reunion,that included a slide show from "past reunions". I barely recognized myself, but would recognize my kids, or my clothes. I noticed I was very rarely smiling-but often EATING (no surprise there!!)...

Looking to have a busy work week, then a 3 day weekend. i don't take very many of those, and don't have any special plans, but I'm still looking forward to it...

Better go hit the shower and get ready to make this this a productive day! LOVE Y'ALL!!

 Hi TMB.

Feeling very unmotivated this morning.  I need to down this protein shake and get moved on to my coffee.  Maybe my cup of happy will give me some 'get going' energy.

My pineapple upside down cake for my step son's birthday came out BEAUTIFULLY.  Of course I neglected to snap a picture before it was cut into.  I'll just have to do another one for pictures.  I have to bake another cake today.  Tomorrow night is my step daughter's final cake decorating class and she needs to bring a cake with the first layer of frosting already done.  I can't believe the whole month of June is basically over and she goes back to her mom's on Friday.

Norma, sorry about your classmate.

Had a good weekend, Saturday went to Dallas support group meeting and then shopping and lunch after wards.  Sunday was church and work.  I needed to buy groceries but I just was not in the mode so I just ran and got my cases of water, so grocery shopping is in my future.

Today will be a stressfule and busy day at work which is all I have on my agenda today.

So sorry to hear of your friends death. It is alwayshard to loose a contemporary.

Had a great weekend except for getting sidelined with a blowout! Grandaughter had a grand b-day weekend! Back towork today and the big mucky muck is in the store this morning! It is ok though she is really nice!

Well doing house cleaning before I go in so I better get to it! Have a grand day all!

Good morning Norma. So sorry to heat about your classmate. That is sad.

I had a good weekend. I got my bedroom clean from top to bottom Saturday. Today I will clean the extra bedroom and both bathrooms...getting light fixtures, baseboards etc. One day this week I have to mow the yard. I still have regular house cleaning to do this week and hopefully deep clean the den.

Ben will be home Friday and we have a lunch that day to cele rage my brother buying a local landscape/ nursery business here that one of my nephews is going to manage for him. Saturday we Leave for a wedding in Kellar. We have the rehearsal dinner, then my sister and I are hosting a bridesmaid lunch in Southlake and the wedding is Sunday night. Monday I will head to Rowlett. Ben is riding home with my sister.

By the way...I'd call and raise HELL with your roadside assistance company.  Please make sure they are aware they dispatched a business who not only didn't have basic tools on board but they just left you on the side of the road and made no effort to help once their 'plan A' was a fail.  That is not the kind of service you should be paying for.

And Clint IS a Knight in shining armor.  I'm a lucky woman!
