Interesting High Protein & Fiber Choc Cake
Got this from a friend from HS... I have not made it but wanted to share.
NOTE*THIS IS NOT SUGAR FREE*
Gluten Free chocolate cake
It's one 16oz can of Garbonzo beans (yup!!!) rinsed and drained the blended in a food processor with 4 eggs. The add 3/4 cup white sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda with 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (I like the dark chocolate) melted in the microwave for 2min the pour into food processor and blend all together. Poor it into a 9 inch round and bake for 40 min. I'll have to check the temp. High fiber and protein.
it has 4 grams of fiber, 6 grams of protein per slice... 8 grams fat.
This is NOT SUGAR FREE!!!! ****Anyone wanna make it sugar-free (HINT HINT DANNI)?****

if your going to try it - def use the darkest choc chips or chunks you can find -hell since you are melting it just buy a bar of 72 or 80% dark - lower sugar and better taste - with the beans it will be RICH tasting with the darker choc
I would guess 3/4 cup splenda 1/3 cup sugar
make splenda powdered sugar to top it with - no I don't remember how other than you use the blender and you REALLY have to make sure it is good dry first LOL
that is off the top of my head - I would love to make it - beans blend into all kinds of crazy stuff and the chocolate would cover the taste perfectly
no time for me to play in the kitchen this week- if you make it will ya send me a bite

I made garbanzo bean cookies once in my post-op life and they were really good. Texture was even cookie like which I found surprising. Thanks for this - I might just have to try it soon!!!
