Frenk'n freezing Friday WLS Express

Morning Train riders!  No snow day for me since I work at home, but I don't mind.  I took the dogs out in the snow this morning and they were so funny.  Leo tried to go chase a car that drove by and ended up chest deep in snow.  He looked like he was swimming as he made his way back to the sidewalk.  It sure was peaceful out with very few cars on the road.  I have to say I love the beauty of the snow on everything.  Not a sight we get to see very often and I'm enjoying every minute of it.

I've got a couple of conference calls today and projects to work on, so I'll stay busy.  Jeff is going to go in to work at noon, so hopefully his drive won't be too bad.  Living closer to his work will sure help my sanity on these bad weather days.  

Looking forward to a busy three day weekend.  Tomorrow I'm meeting up with a friend in Irving (if the roads are clear), then meeting with my women's ministry group in the afternoon.  Of the six people who were on the team before the drama this last week, only two of us are left.  It's very sad and heartbreaking to see people leaving the church, but we've got to push on and continue working with and for the ones that remain.  So we're going to pick up the pieces and make new plans for the year.

Hope everyone who has a snow day enjoys the day off!  Everyone else, be very careful if you have to go out on the roads.

Up north here in Corinth, we have the most beautiful morning, so peaceful....  Anyhoo - no way am I trying to drive into Downtown Ft. Worth today - working from home :)   Taking lunch for about 15 minutes while I check the boards and type.

GLAD it's Friday - this week has felt sooooo long!!!
