saying hi...
Wanted to stop in and say hello,
I'm from southcentral Kentucky, near Mammoth Cave. I will be having my surgery in Nashville, at Centennial with Dr. Dyer. Waiting on his approval as I type.
I am fairly new to OH, but I've been lurking around in the background for some time now, reading profiles while I was researching doctors and hospitals so much so it feels as if I know you all like I would a good neighbor, more so than the members on the Kentucky forum..(althought they have made me feel very welcomed) maybe because I have chosen to come to Nashville for my surgery instead of somewhere in Kentucky, but your stories have offered encouragement, been so very inspiring, brought tears and smiles. They have truly helped me in making my decision ....so thank you for having the courage to share your journey with others
Blessings to all
Belinda...

Hey Belinda, welcome to the board...we're glad you are here. I wanted to tell you...Mammoth Cave is one of my family's favorite places. We come up at least three or four times a year and camp at least once during the summer. In fact, you will be one of the few who will understand one of my "what I'm gonna do when I lose weight" list items...to ride the Alpine Slide in Cave City with my daughter and hubby instead of jus****ching from the picnic table. Oh, and to ride at the Jesse James stables...
