Hi there, I think I may have found a solution to my anti-depressants. I have been told by my therapist, who's husband is a pharmacist, that a compounding pharmacy can grind my Effexor and mix it in with an elixer. Has anyone used one in the past? What are their experiences? Thanks. -Alyssa

Alyssa, I use a compounding pharmacy for my hormone replacement therapy. I had to have a hysterectomy 3 years ago, and it threw me into early menopause...it has truly been a God-send!! Plus when you are sick and pukeing your guts out and cannot swallow a pill of Phenegran... they can mix you something up and put it in a cream, a lollypop, a gummy bear, etc.... (i know some of those things wouldnt be cool to use with your surgery) but i really feel that it is a wonderful thing that they have come up with cause it gives so many choices to get your medicene that you need. Thumbs up from me! Sonya

Yes, I had and upper resp. infection 2 weeks ago because I can't take sulfa or penicillin I had to go to the compounding pharmacy in Mt. Juliet to get my antibotic. It worked very well. Linda Tidwell

THANK YOU LINDA AND SONYA! I really appreciate this. Were they able to get a sugar free oral suspension? And does insurance cover it? Linda you aren't too far from me...I live in Hermitage. Thanks! -Alyssa
