This a big step for me !!
Hello my name is Leslie and I had the Fobi Pouch done three years ago as of January 16th ,2007. I started at 610 pounds and now I weigh 308 pounds that comes to a total loss of 302 pounds I have lost. So to say I have changed a little bit is kind of a joke! When I weighed 610 pounds I was fully dependent on my Husband Billy , of whom I meet when I was 17 years old and married when I was 20 years old. We watched a very close friend die of a massive heart attach in bed with his wife. When I went alone to the visatation and seen him dead in not a casket but a piano case , and He look like a ballon that was deflated and his skin was bruise from his heart exploding and coming out of his mouth. Need less to say it scared me to death and I knew if I did not do something soon that I would be the next person lying in a piano case and having not paul barriers to carry me to my grave but a fort lifte. So I went straight to Dr.Husted for help! Now I can breath ,walk,run,and even take care of my own personal hygiene needs. I now have a husband who has a wife not someone else to take care of I was even given the gift of an Angel named Sharon Elisabeth nine months ago of which even with all the fat gone I never dreamed of being blessed with a child of my own that I got to carry and give birth to myself ! At first when I had the surgery I got angry because all I ever seemed to do was throw up and goto the bathroom! I even went through a thing where I stoped eating and drinking anything and my wanderful Husband and Grandmother and my wanderful Parents told on me to Dr.Husted and he told me ok if you will not eat then I guess I will put you in the hospital and insert a feeding tube. Well I did not want any of that done so I went home and found a way to eat and have done very well every since. So this is my crazy story and I have enjoyed reading all of your messages and stories! I know my story is long but some times in life God sends you a message in strange ways. Some are like mine scary and horriable, then again sometimes he sends you simple signs. I just seem to be the kind of person that does not really get something until it is put in front of me. I hope that my story in some small way will help someone sooner than it helped me. All I can say is WOW. You are truely amazing. To have gone through so much and you have lost over 300 lbs is simply astonshing! Just goes to show when you put your mind to it you can accomplish anything. I appluad you on your strength and courage through your journey. Congrats on all your success!!
