Hi Everybody, I got some good news yesterday, The Insurance coordinator at Baptist MSC called and informed me my new insurance will cover my surgery. Acordia National out of West VA. There are strict guide lines. Must have 6 months Drs. Supervised weight loss attempt. Psych Evaluation, 5 years recorded weights from PCP, and some more stuff I forgot. They are sending me forms I need. Needless to say I am very excited. I called and made an appointment with my PCP for next week. I just wanted to write and share the good news. The next 6 months will be challenging I plan to use the time to prepare myself mentally and phyically for my life changing surgery. Please keep me in your thoughts and Prayers. Thanks, Steve White

Good luck, Steve. Those 6 months will fly by. Just think you will be able to have your surgery this year. I had to do the same thing for CIGNA. Congratulations, you will be a big loser soon. Marie

That is great news Steve. Those six months will be over before you know it. I did my dr. supervised diet through my pcp (dr. ferland) and they were great! I would suggest you keep a food journal with calorie, fat, and carb counts as well as an exercise log and have your doc sign off on it each time you go. When I was done, I had a book to send to the insurance company lol. Take care... oh and don't forget the springfield support group meeting Thursday. April
