funny moment w/my grandson
I was over at my son's house yesterday and my DIL wanted to show me some of the clothes they had gotten my 9 y/o grandson for Christmas (he asked for clothes - FYI, he has a girlfriend). One of the tops was a nice, casual, zip neck sweater.
I looked at it and said "I like that! I could even wear that!" I held it up to me to check the fit and repeated that I could wear it. She called my grandson from his room and told him that Grandma could wear his shirt. He told us that I couldn't wear it because it was little. DIL told him that I was little now too. He insisted that I could not wear his shirt.
I took the shirt and put it on!! Boys size 8-10! Granted, it fit me closer than it fits him, but it fit!! The look on his face was priceless!!!!!!!!!!

Susan It is funny how kids see things . Tori tells me I am going to be a baby bc I am getting smaller . The funniest thing she has told me was when I had finaly broken down and bought new Support for the "girls " .. I was wearing one of the nice new very supportive bras and she looked up at me and said wow mom you have big uns !!! . It is bc my tummy is smaller than they are now but Doug and I just roll eveytime we talk about Our little girls assesment of mom

That is too cute! I was complaining yesterday about how I could not see any weight loss yet and today is my one month mark when my daughter says, "Oh no Momma, I can see it in your face!" I asked her how and she says, "Well, your cheeks used to be big and red and puffy like Santa, but now you look more like Mrs. Claus, not so puffy and red." I was nearly rolling as it was when she looks at me, very seriously, and adds, "Not that you were fat or anything..."!
