Just finished my testing

Well I went the other day and finished my testing for DR Woodman. Now I have to wait for results so they will schedule my appointment with him and he will schedule my surgery date. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!! Looking forward to it , I am tired of being overweight. Does anyone have any advise for me?

Mark, Best wishes to you and getting approved. My only advice is to keep in touch with the Doctors office and making sure they are doing everything and keep checking for your status. It never hurts to keep on top of things!

Yayy!! Congratulations! The best advice I can give is make sure you do your research. During my "waiting" time.. I read a gazillion profiles here on this website, attended support group meetings, and did even more reading on the procedure. Also, I would highly recommend NOT gaining weight before you have the surgery. I gained 8lbs between my consultation and actual surgery date, a month later. I wished to goodness I would had lost weight. At any rate, this is a great place for support and resources. Good luck to you April

Hi Mark, I finished my testing last Wednesday (January 3rd) for Dr. Woodman. My left arm still hasn't recovered from the bloodwork and the lady that didn't quite hit the vein the first time - it's a nice shade of deep pink, yellow, and green at this point! I'm having lap-band surgery, how about you? In addition, I'm having my surgery at Methodist Germantown because of my insurance. I e-mailed the office today to check on the program fee ($500 or $1500) and to see exactly how much I'll be expected to pay up front. Hopefully, I'll hear from them quickly. I don't want to get there and not have my funds together. Let me know when you get an appointment with Dr. Woodman and I'll do the same. Good luck! Kim Kim
