OTC Meds for a Cold

What is the best thing to take Post Op (RY Bypass) for a cold. I can read labels all day but getting advice from a "pro" is best. I am one month out...

Tylenol Cold & Flu It is available in liquid form as well as tablets. Also, plenty of fluids. Warm fluids will really help with congestion. Warm broth and brothy soups work best. Stay warm and hope you get to feeling better. Susan

Amen to the Tylenol Cold and Flu! I have the Band and I got a cold and the stuff totally worked. The ony downside is that the flavor leaves something to be desired- not terrible, but definitely not yummy.... Get to feeling better!

It did work well! Yes, tastes like CRAP and the first few swallow**** my system pretty hard but after the second dose I was ok. Got back on my Singulair finally so that helped as well. Down to 256 today from 328... now past halfway point to goal and only 6 weeks out from surgery!
