The meeting is at The Legacy Apartments...in the building where the apartment office is. They meet every 3rd Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Maybe I'll see you there sometime

I'm having a lap RNY at VMC 1/15, and have been impressed with everyone thus far. I'm using Dr. Richards, and everyone I've spoken with about him has been amazing. Brian

I did everything on my own when it came to insurance, appeal, psych evals, needing letters from my PCP, etc. I was consumed with wanting the surgery so bad that I took control of the situation and made sure every i was dotted and every t was crossed. But I was glad because I knew every step, where I was in the process, etc. I had everything done prior to seeing Dr. Houston. I didn't know there were doctors offices who did all of that for you, but with my schedule, I needed to talk one on one with the actual facilities who performed the services.

Good luck! I had Dr. Richards do my surgery 21 months ago. I've lost 110 lbs. and am below his goal for me. Christian Ketel in his office is awesome and he's the one you see more than Dr. Richards. I hope your surgery goes as smooth as mine did. I would definitely do it again!! Susie
