I'm Uncomfortable
Well, I had a first bad day of blended foods. I got sick three times and was miserably uncomfortable yesterday. I called the doctor's office and told them what happened and they said it might be that my body is not ready for real food yet and I might have to stay on liquids a couple more days and try again, or it might be that I didn't blend my foods enough. I'm waiting on a call back from them to let me know what they want me to do. I'm still uncomfortable.
All I had was scrambled eggs, tuna fish, and ground chicken. Did anyone have any similar happenings on their first day?
aww... I'm sorry you're having such a hard time. Give it a few more days and if it still is happening, make sure you call the doc
But, no.. I didn't have any trouble. I was scared to death of trying foods though. The first blended/soft foods I had was cottage cheese. You might want to try that?? Good luck!

Hi Robin, I was just coming off liquids at your stage. Still can't stand the smell of scrambled eggs and tuna. Makes me real sick to my tummy. The ground chicken I can eat regularly, try some refried beans with cheese, cottage cheese, soft foods or blended (diaper looking pureed) foods. Bean soups are high in protein, and easy to eat.
I wish you luck, but give your new pouch a break as the Dr. says, and try other things. I love scrambled eggs and tuna, but not my pouch and my nose. LOL,
Love ya, Kathy
