I'm home....

Hi, the very same tests that I had here, were done my Dr.Colquitt in Maryville. He is still clueless to how I am losing so much weight, and why I choke of foods. I can't answer on the food bit, but I think the new chemo pills have something to do with the weight loss. I just wanted to let everyone know, just much I appreciated all the prayers, calls, and well wishes. I don't know what to say, but thank you. You are great friends, supporters, and prayer partners. You are always there when someone needs you, and I know I apreciate it knowing you are praying for me or someone else. Thank you, Kathy 299/277/145/136 b04 surgery/day f surgery/current/ goal. All within 10 months.

Hi Laura, gosh I can't get over how much you have changed. You are looking Hot lady, what's the hubby say about you now? I only know that it's not the lymph nodes pressing on my throat, but that it could be the spurs on my vertabraes digging into the muscles that could be swelling and causing me the problem. That will be left up to my pain Dr. and my local surgeon to decide what to do. Thank you for your prayers and support. Love Kathy

Welcome home! I'm glad you didn't have to stay in hospital as long as you'd anticipated. So the new chemo drug is making you skinny.... I hope it's also making you well. Love and prayers for your recovery. Love Dennie

Hi Dennie, I feel fine just tire easily. I will never get well. There's no cure for my type of leukemia. As long as I stay on the chemo pills, I can live a long life span. Not take them and I would be dead within 2 years. I don't know if it's the drug or not. The prior one made me retain fluids, this new one, there isn't much out there about it yet as it just came on the market. The Dr. said I would be in there for 1-3 months. He never did hook me up to a finding tube, just started me on liquids, then to regular foods. For that I am thankful. He can't hook me up to something has to go down my nose, that is forbidden when you have the gastric bypass. Those with the banding and the gastric can never have the n/g tube put into their nose, it's pushed so hard down that it can rupture the new pouch. The only thing that can be used is the endoscopic tube down the throat. Off to love ya, Kathy

Kathy so glad to hear that your home, i have really prayed hard that you wouldn't be in the hospital during christmas now we got pray really hard that they find out what is mading you choke,,i really believe in pray so just do the best you can with eating and drinking and we will all keep praying for you. with much love Teresa

Hi Teresa, a friend of mine said if I had to stay in the hospital, he was going to bring me a tree and decorate it to keep my spirits up. He called me the night I was admitted. Sweet person. I appreciate all the prayers and support. Thank you, Kathy

Girl, since I'm not getting any kisses, you can't either. LOL, any mail that comes to me from outside will be sent back to the sender. Sorry. I only received my allergy vials at the hospital, no cards. Just put it in a 5x7 envelope and readdress it, I'll get it then. Thank you. Love kathy
