AM I doing okay?
Congrats to you Carol. Sweetie you are doing great. Please don't get discouraged. You can do this!! Just believe in yourself and try your hardest each day and you will succeed. Losing slower is good because it gives your skin time to catch up with the loss and you will not have as muchor mabye no hanging sagging skin. Keep up the good work. Also wanted to give you a big {{{ HUG }}} Smile!!
When was the last time you lost 10 lbs per month? You can't compare yourself with those of us who have had bypass, your losses with the lapband will be slower. But, you are losing and isn't the goal of every one of us?
I think you are doing great! If you're really discouraged though, talk to your doctor or nut to see if there is something you need to change.
Good luck!
Susan
Hey Carol, from my point of view, I would say you are right on schedule with your weight loss. Just keep working the tool and you will continue to lose the weight. Be sure to walk more, and drink your fluids. But as a lapbander, I think you are doing far better, considering you are on a band. What other diet have you been that helped you lose 62 pounds in 6 months. Unless you had the gastric bypass, I would say there aren't any out that allows you to lose what you have. Keep your chin up, and be proud in yourself for sticking to this new tool.
