Support Group Meetings

Dear friends, I have a slight problem in finding support group meetings. I was wondering those of you who had Dr.Boyce in Knoxville know of any support group meetings that I can attend? I live in the knoxville area and I would love to attend them. I would really like to talk to someone and know that they are feeling the same way or have felt the same way after they had their surgery. So if anyone can help me HELP PLEASE! This web site does not have a listing for support group meetings in the Knoxville area or close to it. So Please someone help me out. I am even welling to go to Blount county. Tina, I am going to the Sevierville support grouup meeting on Monday, December 18, 2006. It is at The Echota Resort not far off of the 407 exit. It is run by Cindy Koontz. I do not seem to be as successful at losing as you are. I had surgery 7 weeks ago and have only lost 30 lbs and I have been stuck there for 3 weeks Delynn

There is one in Maryville that we are going to today (I know this is short notice but maybe you can go next month). It is the 2nd Saturday at the Pellissippi Campus at 10am. I don't have all of the other particulars but may be able to tell you more after we go today. Hope this helps!!

There is one tomorrow at Blount Memorial Hospital in the auditorium. It is a combo of lap band and gastric bypass and they have a fashion show tomorrow
