Moving from Morristown

Hi everyone, I will be moving somewhere between Crossville and Nashville areas. If you hear of any place for rent in a 1-2 bedroom please let me know. I had my throat dialated on Friday, and on Saturday eating homemade bean soup, I starting choking again. Just drinking lowfat eggnog this morning caused me to choke. The lymph nodes near my throat are enlarged and calcified, my ENT Dr. doesn't want to remove them, near does a surgeon *****moved the lymph node under my left arm. I have a small airwave so with the nodes pressing on my throat, I can't even breath. I can't get any on my medications including the chemo pills down as I start choking because they can't go down and I can't get them up until they dissolve then I can throw them up. Not fun at all. Going to contact Dr. Colquitt about it tomorrow. I can't get any of my nutriants in, can't take my vitamins, protein, nothing, even just drinking water is painful and I start choking. The Lymph nodes will either have to come out or use radiation to shrink them. They are solid hard. Each day I feel weaker then before and the migrains aren't helping. I see my oncologist tomorrow and I'm going to see what she recommends having done. It doesn't help that I have 2 bulging disks in my neck at the same time. The nodes are hard with calcium from the leukemia. So they say. It still doesn't explain the hard knots in my arms and on my calves. The surgeon won't mess with them, and both are extremely painful. I made an appointment with my PCP regarding all this, I see him on Wednesday. I hope I can get some answers quick, or I will dwindle to nothing. I keep losing and I'm not even trying too. Since I am unable to eat these days. If something isn't done soon, they'll have to feed me thru a tube. UGH. But I have a feeling that's what is going to happen if someone doesn't do something fast. Hi Beth, I feel like a walking stick who looks malnurished. I won't leave the board. Having leukemia, makes me want to spend as much time with my sons and 2 grandsons. One of each lives in Portland, the other and his son live is Lavergne. I'm looking for somewhere between Crossville and Nashville. Never been to chattanooga, but will before I leave this earth. I want to see their light show and at Pigeon Forge. Hopefully, next year will be better and less stressful. Love ya, Kathy

Hey Little One, it's life, comes with having this leukemia. Thank you for the prayers, they are sure appreciated. I always make it to the get togethers when I'm in town. Toni, Susan, Melinda, and I all got together Labor Day weekend, and Melinda got her approval that same week. I am going to be checking into anything from Crossville to Nashville. Crossville is only 2 hours from here, so that way I don't have to change all my Dr.'s, some I only see every three to four months apart so I will keep them. Plus no more then I have to see my PCP and I don't want to change him unless necessary, I'll keep him. Plus if something comes up, I have the VA hospital. With my having medicare and medicade, I don't need to go to the VA except for my medications. I need to get in the hortizonal position and try and sleep. I'll let you know something after I talk to my gastric surgeon and my oncologist to see what they can do or what they want done. Love you, Kathy

Too bad you are not moving closer to Lawrenceburg, I've got a house to rent here. I'm so sorry things are not getting better. I thought for sure that stretching your throat would do the trick. Please let us know asap what the doc says on Wednesday. I know they can put the tube right under your collar bone and give you 3000 calories a day. That may be best Kathy, since you have lost so much...it may give you a jump start and bring your iron up. Hi kym I haven't started on my Christmas Cards yet, planning doing them this evening. Tell me about the house. How many bedroom, what are you wanting for rent. I am with section 8 and they pay a portion of my rent each month, will it pass their inspection, and will you accept them? Lawrence isn't that far from Nashville, how long does it take to drive there? Thanks and let me know. Much appreciate it. Maybe able to drive down there one day over the holidays to see it. Hi Ellen, I am seeing my oncologist at 2pm, and my PCP tomorrow. On Thrusday I will see my gastric surgeon about all this. I see him first that that morning. He might be able to help me at least getting in my food and vitamins. I'll keep y'all informed on what the three different Dr's have to say. please remember me in your prayers. Thank you Kathy
