Nashville get together - Dec 9th

Okay folks, time to finalize our plans. Remember, everyone is welcome, pre-op, post-op, any type of surgery, any surgeon. We are all family. I've had some requests for an early evening meeting instead of lunch. I'm open to either. I believe China Cottage might still be our best place to get a table/tables together. Most of the other restaurants in the area are extremely busy in the evening and right now many of them are also the sites of Christmas parties. I will be counting votes for 1pm meeting and for 5 or 6pm meeting (Toni, does that give you enough time to join us after work?) Give me a shout out, let's have a big send off for Kym! Susan

Hey, Lady! A very generous relative has given us his hotel reward points so I will definitely be coming. My preference is for earlier, only because I am not so confident driving at night in Nashville, but I can deal either way, especially if it means the difference between having a few versus having many...the more the merrier! Also, I have a suggestion...what about making it even more fun and having everyone bring a small "Dirty Santa" gift?

Hi Susan: Please let me know, where the China Cottage is! I will try and get my friend, who had RNY surgery, to come with me. Sometimes, he works on Saturdays! Let me know about the details. I rather go in the afternoon, but I am open. I really don't feel like I should be there, because I am only 6 weeks out, but I know, that I would get great encouragement from everyone. Hey lady, I wanted to tell you not to feel weird about coming since I haven't even had my surgery yet...it's not until Monday...but everyone is welcome, pre and post ops. So come one and have some fun with us! To get there, take I-65, take the Rivergate exit, right if you are coming from the south, then right on Gallatin Rd. and right into the shopping mall. China Cottage is next to Panera Bread. Hope to see you there!!!

I have Christmas parties that day. Pick a time and I will at least try to drop by to give Kym some stuff!!!!

Paula, I am going to come up on Saturday and stay until I check into the hospital Monday morning so if you don't get to come to the get together we can still meet up later that day or on Sunday. Hope you have a good time at the parties!
