Up dating you all
Greetings friends,
As of this week I have started back on the treadmill since I had my surgery. I am feeling better about myself too.
Things are starting to feel like normal to me now. I am still looking forward to the moment that I can see some weight loss. But everyone keeps telling me that they can see it.
When I went into surgery I weighed 268. Then after sugery at my first WLS doctor's visit I weighed in at 246. Now as I stepped on my scales I weighed in at 236. I am still not seeing the weight loss. But I hope that I soon will. I think it takes time.
I hope I find everyone feeling well today. Sorry I have not wrote anything lately. I have been real tired. I am hoping that by Christmas day I will be on normal food.
Your friend,
Tina

hey tina!!! i am happy to hear that you are starting to feel better. I honestly didn't feel like myself until 2 months out. Things will get better, you'll see. Soon you'll be feeling better than your old self!!! Try super hard to get your protein in, that will help with the tiredness and the weight loss!
hugs,
jacqueline
I agree with Jacqueline, I didn't start to feel like myself until about 2 months out.
As for the weight loss, 32 lbs is nothing to sneeze at. You are doing great! I didn't really see the results until I'd lost about 50 lbs. But, I could feel it! I felt less bloated and I could tell that my clothes fit differently.
Keep up the good work and you'll be in onederland before you know it.
Susan
Hey Tina
, I agree with Little One and with Susan, I noticed it in my clothes before I could see the difference in my body. Well except for the double chin, I didn't have one.
on the 32 lbs gone for good. That is great. You'll be on some food at Christmas but not your mom's rolls, stuffed with dressing and turkey and potatoe salad. A little much right now. You want to avoid the rolls and breads for now. They turn into starch, and starch turns to sugar. On that you may have to wait until about 6 months out. Check with your nutrionist about what you will be able to eat for Christmas dinner. That is your best resource. Even now, I can take a piece of bread and cut off the crust, cut the bread in half for a sandwich, I can eat about 3/4's of that half sandwich and I'm full. Bread will fill you too fast, and we all know where the bread goes, to the buns and thighs. Find out what you can have and work with that into your dinner. Protein first at all times.
Love ya, Kathy
