I have been having a really hard time finding a protein drink that I like. I have been reading up on some of the recipies and trying things on my own. I came up with this recipie and really really like it. So I thought I would share it. I use the unflavored protein powder. 1 cup skim milk 1 - 1 1/2 scoops unflavored protein powder 1 tbsp no sugar added peanut butter 2 tbsp sugar free instant butterscotch pudding ( dry) a small dash of vanilla flavoring a handfull of crushed ice In the blender, I mix the milk and the protein powder together first, so the powder wont clump. Then I add everything else and mix up. Mine comes out with a milk shake texture and its really yummy.

That sounds good! My favorite right now is Egg Nog. I got the Sugar Free Da Vinci Egg Nog syrup and I add 1 oz of that to my French Vanilla protein shake. Yummo! It tastes just like the full fat, full sugar version in the dairy case. It even has the same mouth feel so it's very satisfying. Susan

HI, I was wondering what it would taste like by switching out the pudding to a different flavor? I have a hard time with butterscotch. Have you tried this with a different flavor of pudding? Let me know, Kathy I put a blender on my Christmas list or a Magic Bullet

Butterscotch is all i have tried so far cause its my favorite flavor. I think the sugar free banana pudding with a tablespoon of peanut butter would be great too. I think I will try that tomorrow. I'll keep ya posted.

So what stage can I have this at? How do I count the pudding? Do you use the fat free version or just the sugar free version? This sounds so good and I don't even like peanut butter very much? I wonder what it would taste like if I used chocolate pudding?

I would say it would be safe for you to have at the puree stage. I use the fat free skim milk with the sugar free pudding and the no sugar added peanut butter. Last night I tried the banana pudding and added the peanut butter and it tasted like a banana milk shake. I have some vanilla pudding and some frozen strawberries that I am going to try tonight. The chocolate would probally be good with a piece of a fresh banana added. I also taste it after its blended and add a dab of splenda if it doesnt taste sweet enough to me.
