Need your support today.

November 26th is always a hard day for me. You see today is my mothers birthday but also the day she died as well. I lost my mother 18 yeras ago today and the pain is still very real to me. I was only 15 when she died and so many things have happened since she past. She was killed by a drunk driver. Please if you get anything from this Please encourage others or yourself never to drink and drive. Just need some friends to share this with and need some support to help me through the day.

Juanita, My thoughts are with you today. My uncle was killed when he was 22 when he was in the car with a drunk driver. My family has always been very sensitive on this subject and I got good doses of lectures before I ever started driving. I'm so sorry. Janie

Thank you Janie for your reply. I am sorry about your Uncle such a loss at such a young age. It really does effect you and family when someone dies due to someone else's negligence. I have nothing against drinking just do it responsibly is all I ever say. My thoughts are with you and your family as well.

Hi Juanita- I'm sorry for your loss. I know its especially hard around the holidays and birthdays. Just remember that where ever she is I know she has to be proud of you. I'm not in your situation, so I can't say that I know how you feel, but just know that there are people here that care about you and love you. ~Amber~

Hi Juanita, I am sorry you lost your mother at such a tender age. I do understand about what drinking and driving can do to a family. There's a lady in my apartment complex that lost her husband, daughter, and son-n-law over 2 years ago to a drunk drive. She has a rod from the crown of her head down to her tailbone to hold her neck and back in place just so she can walk. She recently was taken off the pain pump, but still has a lot of problems dealing with it all. She misses her family so much.
