2 Funny WOW moments
Just as a reminder...I work on a college campus.
WOW moment #1
I was in our campus bookstore and ran into a young lady who is a former student & has a brother who is a current student. She saw me and her eyes got real big and she said "Miss Susan you got little! You're tiny!!!!"
I don't remember EVER being called tiny.
WOW moment #2
I was leaving one of the buildings on campus yesterday and saw a co-worker heading into the building so I called out to her. She looked all around and finally looked back at me in shock. She said she thought I was one of the students coming out of the dorm.
She called me "Miss Skinny".
I love being called "Skinny"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll be a bit scarce on the board next week. My mom will be with me starting Sunday evening. I'll try to pop in in the morning before she gets up.
Everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!!! Remember, turkey is our friend. Mashed potatoes, gravy, dressing & pumpkin pie are like old boyfriends we want to avoid.
Susan

Hi Susan, I love the wow moments, really boosts the self esteem up. My ears, nose, throat Dr. calls me miss sunshine and ms skinny all the time. He says that no matter what I am going thru in my life, I am always smiling and thinking positive. He surely must be talking to someone else when it comes to the always smiling and thinking side of things. I have my moments and they usually hit me at home when I and alone. He's doing everything possible to help locate where the cancer is. When I see him on Wednesday he will decide then on whether to remove the enlarged lymph node in the right side of my neck as it can't be biopsied. I'm not going to worry about that, I have a feeling he's going to find the same problem that the lymph node that was under my left arm is nothing more then a sold calcium stone in either my lymph node or in the saliva glands. Now they do know why my bones are brittle, all the calcium is going to my glands an lymph nodes.
I love the old boyfriends part in your letter. That's a good one to remember. This year ham will be my friend, since my sons are coming from Nashville on Friday evening, have dinner around noon on Saturday then they have to leave that afternoon. Turkey makes everyone sleepy, so we're going with a ham this year and turkey for Christmas.
You have a great weekend and we'll talk later. Love ya, Kathy
