Topic: RE: Problems with sinuses
I have the same problem with my sinuses but I just deal with it. There is no way I am going to stop using my CPAP machine.

Topic: RE: Camping?
I actually go camping with my family alot and I have a CPAP machine. We use a tent when we camp but we have to tent near electricity. The park people let us pay the tent rate since my machine does not use that much electricity unlight air conditioners in campers.

Topic: Mirage 2 *or any mask* question
I have yet to find something to wipe out the mask every day with that doesnt leave fragments. I use paper towels and have tried different ones. Is there a regular towel or something out there that will help with this? Thanks!

Topic: great resource
Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you know about a great resource I came across. My husband is a snorer and I have been dealing with the problem for over 15 years. This little book has given me some great insight into the problem and a few laughs on past cures. check it out here http://stores.lulu.com/ebookcentral I hope you find it as helpful as I did. If you have found any other resources, please let me know, I am always happy to have more information! thanks snorer's wife!

The technician told me I didn't have sleep apnea and then the Dr read the study and I did have it, so wait to hear from your Dr.

I just did my sleep study, and I have to get the full mask machine. I fell like I am going into chemical warfare!! I have to go get fitted on the 20th of Feb. I have a hard time when my husband breathes on me, so I am not sure how I am going to do with it either! Good luck!

I have a Bi-pap instead of a c-pap but I use to love it. Now I am having issues with burning in my nose. I do not think they will not do your surgery because you do not use the machine but I believe that you need to use it. I can be life threatening if we do not. (I was told this several times on a post two days ago on the main forum.) You will get use to it. I took me about a month. Hope it helps! Blessings.

I hate the machine. I can't stand it. Will I still get to have my RNY if I don't wear the thing. UGH! I don't know how people deal with it. I didn't think it would bother me....but man oh man. I will not go near that machine.

Topic: Pain
I received my Bi-Pap machine in Sept. and loved it. Well, I had gastric bypass on 12/27/07. Right after my surgery, my nose would wake me up at night burning so badly that tears were streaming out of my eyes. It felt as if I was breathing fire. I called my respiratory therapist, (she hasn't been back since she brought me the machine) and she said to up the heat on the humidifier. Well , I did but it did not help. I have since stopped using it as I just cannot stand the pain. What do you believe the problem is? My pressure is set on 18. I have lost 59 lbs since 12/04/07. Do you think my pressure is too high now? Please help!
