Halfway through the week. I'm laughing at this meme just because today is my Friday. Funny I came into work and my boss was like "oh I thought you were off for the rest of the week". Nope not this week.

We got a surprise little snow squall last night around 7pm that dropped an inch of white crap and we are supposed to get a few more inches tonight/tomorrow with wind gusts up to 40mph. At least I'll be home and not have to drive in it. Heck I don't like driving in just high winds you can always feel the car pulling on the highway and I hate that.

QOTD: Speaking of the white stuff do you like snowy weather? You would think being born and raised in New England first in Rhode Island and then moving to Connecticut I would love the snow, but nope even as a kid living on a farm I was never a fan of the cold snowy weather. Yea I would sled some and ice skate, but never more than hour. I just don't like being cold even at my heaviest weight I hated the cold weather.

Good mornin everyone!

I have an appointment with my case manager at the mental health clinic this morning. We may do a quick trip to Sam's to see if they have boiled eggs. I'm sure my mom has other things planned but I am not aware of them yet.

PT yesterday kick my butt. I feel like the wall someone is trying to throw spaghetti at to see if it'll stick. Every visit has been different in some way. Yesterday he was saying he didn't understand why my pain was rated so high(an 8). It left me feeling really down. So sorry I don't in a certain box...

QOTD: if we have to get out I would rather never have the snow. If I can stay in the house it's great. It's really good for the farmers around here. I can deal with cold but snow and ice are really not my absolute favorite. I hate ice.

B: eggs, cheese and coffee

L: ????

D: shrimp spring rolls and a small egg roll

the perfect mug for some folks!

Good morning, everybody!

I'm back from swimming. We did a lot of drills and kick board, so I was ravenous when I got out. Of course I ate too fast and don't feel that good right now. I'm sure that I will be fine in an hour.

I'm working from home today. The usual Wednesday stuff - Crossfit and Happy Hour. We bought a ton of cheeses for Thanksgiving, and didn't end up eating any of them, so we are going to try and make a dent tonight. We didn't end up having the crab pasta last night, so I think that we are having it for lunch today.

QOTD: I do like snowy weather, particularly at this time of year. By February, I am ready for summer, though.

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: Pasta with crab

Dinner: Charcuterie

Have a great day, all!

Oh, I hate being sick, in the morning. At least if it happens in the evening you can go to bed. Remember you can freeze cheese and use for another event if there is too much.

We do suffer when we eat too fast. Hope you feel better quickly.

I love to fly out of Cleveland in February with a ton of snow at the airport and land in Florida a few hours later to sunshine and warm weather.

I absolutely love snow. I live about ten miles from the snow belt. I will have no snow or a slight dusting and a few miles north will have a foot or more. We used to drive to where there was heavy snow just for fun.

I love Christmas lights sparkling in the snow. I could not wait to get home from school and put on my outside clothes of heavy jacket, leggings, boots, hat and mittens. We made snow angels, snowmen, and igloos. We built forts and had snowball fights.

I read a few years ago that kids died of suffocation when their homemade igloo collapsed. I guess someone was watching out for us because we did some dangerous things.

We had a hill for sled riding and an ice skating party every night at the pond. We had a lot colder weather back in the 50s and 60s. The snow started right after Halloween and stayed until Spring. Many years the snow was still coming until June.

I never minded driving in snow. Ice is harder. Now I mostly admire it from a cosy living room window on the couch with my blanket and the fireplace going.

What do you mean, right above you they had a blizzard. Erie had over 30 inches. We are just low enough to miss it.

My sister was in the blizzard area. She is 20 miles north of Warren. I had a light dusting of snow and in Youngstown there was none at all.
