I fell!
After working all day, I got out and some Moron decided that a couple feet was to far to walk to throw their peach pit away. So needless to say I did not see it on the ground in the parking lot and I stepped right on it! Well my ankle buckled on me and I tripped and fell. I was just so embarrassed because there were a bunch of guys right there, but they were so nice came over to help me up and asked me if I was OK, they got mad about the laziness of people to throw something on the ground like that.
So after about 20 minutes on hold with my OB they said that I do not need to be monitored because I am not yet 23 weeks pregnant. I was a bit surprised because my last child I was told any kind of trauma needed to monitor the baby because I had a car accident when I was 15 weeks. So anyway they said to rest and to just take it easy for the next 48 hours.
I am sore and I am sure to have a bruise on my whole leg.

Sorry this happened to you...Sorry for you pain (physical and emotional).
Glad to hear there are still "nice guys" around!
Hope all is well with your little one.
...AND...do as they say "take it easy"!
Best wishes,
Kina

It was really nice to see that there are nice guys out there!
I am resting, and I am so tired anyway. The doctors did tell me things to look for, I am just praying that I don't have any of them.
The sad thing is, the person who threw it on the ground was long gone and did not see what their pure laziness did!

I had a fall around 19 weeks pregnant and it scared the crap out of me. I went to the ER even though I felt silly, I couldn't rest until I knew everything was ok. So if you're worried at all, don't hesitate to go, it will ease your mind. But they did say that there is so much fluid surrounding the baby when it's small, like before 23 weeks that the impact would have to be very severe and straight to the belly to really do damage. So I'm sure everything is fine. At least people helped you up, no one came to help me up, people just walked on by!

I fell a week or so ago, and I think that might have been what caused my spotting this past weekend. I am so used to falling at work (mostly in marshes and places like that - unstable ground) that it's not remarkable. I got in trouble with my OB and husband for not even remembering that I had fallen. Now they've told me I have to stop my field work and protect my baby, which makes total sense. :P
