Anyone else have no sex drive after baby?

Hey Christie-- It's nice to see you back.  I was just thinking about you and hoping you were feeling okay.  
I don't ever feel sexy either and it's soooo hard to get in the mood when you feel like a schmuk!   Oh and when you much rather be sleeping!!!!!

Im on complete pelvic rest, so I cant have sex... and im soooo relieved. Lol.  I seriously would rather pull my own tooth than have any kind of sex. The weird thing is I keep having sex dreams, but while im awake...nothing. I wonder how it will be once the baby is finally here. My hubby thinks once tthe 6 weeks is up we'll be doing it like before. But... im skeptical. It's been over 6 years since my last baby, but I remember feeling everything sexual when I had newborns. I do feel guilty sometimes, but I just remind him that he went years as a teen boy without sex, he can do it again. LOL.

I don't think I even considered sex until around 8 weeks or so, and really I could happily have gone without for the first 6 months. I actually had some discomfort during sex until around month 4 or 5. My drive is still pretty low right now.

well TMI  but i have only had sex once while pregnant and i am 33 weeks out!!!!! got married Oct. 3rd, got preggo on my wedding night and only have had sex once since then. YIKES!!!!!!!

And Christie, i know all about that lexapro. Were you on it before you got pregnant?I was taking that and had to stop during pregnancy but looking forward to taking it after this baby is born because i need it- i am a total b*tch without it. lol

Anyway, sounds like you aren't the only one with no sex drive around here... hell, i am a newlywed and have only had sex once since my wedding night. (the night i got pregnant).

I should probably mention this to my doctor but I have zero sex drive also. Annie is 4 1/2 months old now. I could go forever with out it if my husband would let me. I just feel sooo bad for him!

 I wanted sex all the time when I was pregnant like 4 times a day! TMI! Now I still want it but I am to exhausted to even think about Sex! Bella still wakes up every 3-4 hours so when she goes to bed at 8 my butts there too. So maybe one of these days when Bella sleeps! hehe!!

Are you breastfeeding?  That will lower sex drive even more, since it's like your body is in menopause.    I bf'd Hannah for 11 months.  I had just started getting a sex drive back and then I got pregnant again lol.    Noah is 3 months old and I'm planning on nursing him for at least 6 months.   I had no desire for sex with either pregnancy.   My poor hubby!
