Addison Grace is a week old!! Pics
This past week has been a blur. I'm finally getting around to post her birth. Addison was born 4/29 via csection. It was scheduled and there were no complications other than the horrible spinal headache I got. They did have trouble getting the spinal in...which after about the 5th try I was in tears. Addison was born 7:53 am with a great set of lungs! She weighed 7lbs 3oz and 19 1/2 inches long and just beautiful. Nick hasn't shown any jealousy yet. He gives her kisses and wants to help me by giving her a bottle and paci..though doesn't care for diaper duty. When we change her diaper...it is a constant "EWWWWW!!" and "Yucky!!" lol
I am really nervous about going back to work even though I won't be back for another 6 weeks.. I keep thinking, how will I get through a work day when she wants to eat every 2 hours??? I dont' do well without sleep.
At any rate, here are a few pics:

We had horrible flooding in Nashville while we were in the hospital. The first floor of the hospital had water standing, no elevators, the security systems went down, A/C not working, and fire alarms continuously going off. It was crazy. I didn't think they would let us go home on Sunday...but we made it home around 8pm that evening. Nashville suffered a lot of damage as well as my home county, which is north of Nashville. Thankfully our home was dry when we got home and our friends and family did not experience any flooding.
Hope everyone is doing well!!! Can't wait to see others birth stories and pictures. I know there were several of us due around the same time :-)
