ot-diapers and wipes?

ever since my children were born i have always used pampers diapers and huggies wipes, i have never had any leaks in the diapers and they hold alot in my opinion for overnight. i love huggies wipes because they are thick and moist.

however i am looking for ways to cut corners and i see in bjs they have LUVS diapers for 29.99 and LUVS wipes for 12.99

has anyone used luvs products if so what are your reviews?

absorbency?  too thin?  poorly made??  allergic reaction?

im afraid to switch diapers mainly for allergic reaction, but being a SAHM now i am thinking about switching.

We used Luvs diapers almost always on my daughter. She didn't have any reaction to them and they held up well overnight too. They are wider in the crotch than huggies and pampers diapers which I think helped with leaks. We are hoping to use Luvs again cause they are cheaper and they worked well for my first but we will see. My daughter could not use White Cloud diapers cause they gave her a horrible rash, so I don't recommend those at all even though they are cheaper than Luvs. I have never used Luvs wipes though, we always got the Pampers sensitive.

Yah my SIL gave me a bag of those White cloud walmart ones and Bella got a HORRIBLE RASH!!! I HATE THEM!! I agree with you on that one!!

I was signed under my mom's account!! I use LUVS and I really like them I think they are really good diapers. I HATE HATE HATE walmart brand diapers. My SIL gave me a bag and they are AWFUL!!! Target brand is a really good brand too!! Diapers.com had a 10.00 off special for diapers. They LUV box of diapers is 35.88 and 10.00 off!!

Personally, I did not care for the wipes from Luvs... They were thinner and not as moist... We have pretty much just strictly used Huggies there... I tried two other types of wipes and nothing was like Huggies...

Diapers are a different story... I have used Luvs from day one with Zander and he is now almost 17 months old... They are on the thin side but we rarely have problems with leaks... I think it all depends on the baby with leaks overnight... It's rare with my son but I've heard others say the complete opposite... He sleeps about 9-10 hours a night and we change him right before he lays down for the night and haven't had much leaking at all... Just a couple of times if he drank a lot before bedtime...

You can always buy a small pack of Luvs to try them out first... Then if you like them, go to BJs then and get the big pack... That's what I would do anyhow...

As a frugal lady I had asked a while back about what diapers were best. I got a lot of responses that Costco and Target brands were great!

I use Luv's and Target brand diapers if I don't have a coupon for Pampers.  I normally use the Walmart brand wipes when I don't buy Huggie wipes.

I haven't used luvs, but I use the Target Up and Up brand wipes and diapers, and I like both! I do use huggies overnights, but for day to day I use the Target diapers. My son has very fair, sensitive skin like me, so I use the unscented or sensitive skin wipes and the diapers are unscented as well, and I've had no trouble at all. The diapers are around $13.50 or so for 36 diapers and the wipes are reasonable as well.

I had a friend that used Luvs, and honestly her kids would pee one time in them, and you could smell the urine a mile away!! I swore off Luvs at that point.

Parents choice are almost identical to huggies diapers....(from what i have been told)

as far as wipes, I got a huge box of wipes for my baby shower they were from sams club, and the woman that got them for me swears by them...she said for the 720 wipes box it was 14 bucks....

I guess its just gonna be trial and error.
