help ladies...serious weight problems and new pics of anaya
So I need the assistance of you lovely ladies.
How do I stop losing and maintaining. I am now 17lbs below my targeted goal and would really like to NOT lose another pound. I am currently 148lbs and a size 10 in bottoms and medium in tops. I now have NO chest (went from a 38 DD to now about a 34 barely B *tear*) and hopefully I can get that filled in in the future. Even with my bad eating habits I picked up during pregnancy...massive amounts of carbs and my new addiction to m&ms (pack a day of the peanut one if you let me)...and yet I am still dropping. Advice and help please ladies.
And for your viewin pleasures. Her one month checkup is on Monday so her stats will get updated then. Enjoy!

Thanks!
Simone

Congrats your little girl is precious. Just to let you know my weight did that for about the first 16 weeks after I had Matthew....then it stopped once I started enjoying the weight loss without any effort. I was 182 the day after I gave birth to Matthew because of all swelling and water gain. I got all the way down to 145. I'm now maintaining at 152 lbs I was hoping to go all the way down to 122 but nope....unless I get back to basics. I have no words of wisdom for you.
I'd say as long as your doctor isn't worried about your weight loss you probably shouldn't be either. Unless you are really tall, your weight still seems to be in the normal range. You aren't under weight yet.
I'd PERSONALLY wouldn't be to hurt if my body decided to keep losing weight past my goal weight, LOL
I'm sure it will level off sooner or later and you may even start to gain a little in the future. Until then I'd enjoy it and just wait and see where your body decided to be and where it likes to be.
Also if you are breastfeeding then it will help you to lose weight too. So that could be part of the reason. If not then . . .eat more?!

Thanks for the response.
No I am not underweight based on the bmi chart but for my body type I am beginning to look it. i am 5'5 and 148lbs but I have the type of body that "carries weight well." Meaning I always look like I weigh less than I really do. Havent seen my surgeon yet but do in a few weeks but I saw my family doctor and she told me for me body frame I need to stop losing cause I dont have much body fat (i think i was like 17 or 18 and target range is 19 for my age i believe) and if I get skin removed Id easily go down another 5lbs or more.
And no, no breastfeeding..my supply never came in. Hopefully I level off soon because I also cannot afford to buy anymore new clothes. I guess I need to add my fat to my food cause I physically cannot consume more in my days.

Hello. First congrats on your little girl! I wount not be worried yet either. The adage that your body will stop when its ready is so true. I am 5'5 as well and my orginal goal was 145, but I kept losing and I was o.k. with that so I revised my goal to 135, but still kept lossing, still o.k. with that! I ended up stoping at 125 on the mark and mantained from there. I am actually really happy I lost those extra 20 pounds, I felt great. I thought I felt great at 150 but was so much happier in the end with 125. Also there is a good chance that over time you will gain back 10 pounds or so and being 125 gave me that wiggle room as my doc called it.
Now my goal will be to get back to 125 after the baby comes!
Your body really will stop when its ready!
