Pregnancy concerns..

Ok sooo obviously the docs don't want me prego for 2 years so i still have like 15 months left...

 buuuuuuuuuut, I am battleing some internal issues with NOT WANTING to get prego. Like gaining back all the weight that i've worked so hard to lose.

 Is that wrong of me ?
 We already have 2 beautiful healthy little girls. 

Please tell me something that will make me feel better.

Your theory sounds logical  to me.  Yes- you will gain weight, will it remain with you? That depends on you and your efforts to remain healthy.  If you are happy with the children you have (i.e are on the fence about adding) I say that your health is a consideration.  I.E. I will only speak of my situation- I was pressured a lot to change my eating habits when I was pregnant...which I did- and now I eat things that I shouldn't because those months of "doing it for the baby" made my addiction resurface.  So, I have to work really hard at retraining my brain and getting back to WLS basics.  So in my case yes my health has suffered greatly for my poor decisions while I was pregnant- but I can't blame the people that encouraged my bad habits-I can only blame my lack of self control.  However, my girls are worth anything to me...so I cam trying to hop back on track for them to have their mommy around.  If I had children prior to WLS (which wasnt a possibility due to fertility issues) I would have NEVER had children now.  I wouldnt have compromised my health because I know how addictive food is.  But that is just me.  There are lots of woman on here that gain baby weight (even with multiples) and can mantain their health and well being during and after pregnancy.  I applaud them.  Its a decision only you can make...I wish you lots of luck with your decision.

If you're mindful and careful you won't gain any more than a person should.  15-25 pounds, I think?  There's baby included in that plus all those fluids and the placenta and all that.  Most of it comes out of you at birth and then you have maybe 10 pounds left?  That is not an unreasonable amount to expect to lose after a baby.

I guess what I'm saying is that it's up to you to not let yourself go.  Just keep away from that eating for two nonsense and you should be fine.

But if you're really worried about the changes it's going to make for your body, perhaps you should really really really make sure you're ready to accept them before you try to conceive.
