Update on numbness and loss of sight
I don't know if you remember my post from last week...I spent the day in the hospital after I had got a sqiggly line through my vision (while driving) and then lost all vision around the line. I got numb on one side and my face. Called the dr in the morning and the nurse told me to go in. I did.... NOTHING!!!!!!!!! They couldn't find anything. Well the first one was Monday...I had one everyday since. To make it worse after its all done I have a migrain all night long and can't sleep. I called the dr again on Thursday and they told me to come right in.
They are completely stumped by this. I have an appointment with a neurologist on Friday after my ob appointment. They said they want me coming in every wee****il we get this figured out. I have no idea what the deal is. I found an infection on my belly lastnight too that kinda freaked me out. Bright Red HUGE painful circle that is in the crease of my fat roll. MAN I just can't catch a break. Tomorrow is my birthday too and I think I am just going to try and sleep. It won't happen cause the kids will get me up all night long but I can hope.
Oh I am 30 weeks with boy number 3. I have a 2 and 3 year old already!
AHH
This may sound like a stupid question...and I have absolutely NO medical training or knowledge, which is probably why it may sounds stupid...but I remember someone on here at least a year or two ago talking about toxoplasmosis...they said that it caused a temporary blindness for them. I don't recall how long it lasted or any other symptoms they had...but is there any chance that you have that?
I hope you get some answers as to what's going on. In the meantime...be careful. I'd even say not to drive just to be on the safe side.
Oh...and...one more thing....
Happy Birthday!!!

Well my 20 minute MRI took 2 HOURS! I would all of a sudden get hot and cold and tingling and then BAM I was soaking wet and would pass out. My blood pressure was 113/76 and 114/74 so that wasn't it. They had me come out of the test and lay down and relax and they called the Dr. The doctor said I really needed to try and finish the test because I really needed to get the complete scan so that they could figure out why this is happening to me. It wasn't fear or anything from being in the tube cause I was fine but I have no idea what was causing me to flip out. I got back in the tube and made it all the way to the last test and it happened again. The nurse came rushing in and was hugging me and checking my blood pressure and wiping sweat off me. I was literally dripping. She wasn't going to let me go home she wanted to follow me. She was like 90 years old and so sweet. SO they finished everything up got the clear from the dr to let me leave and now I have them all baffled...
What a day!
Oh to top that off I haven't been able to stop going to the bathroom today. And everytime I think about work I get sick all over again!
