Real exhuastion...
Has anyone ever suffered from exhaustion? I'm not talking about had a long day kind of thing. I mean a normal mental outlook and brain power combined with physically incapable of getting things done?
I had my labs done and they're all good. I had my WLS nutritionist tell the OB what to order. I need to bump up my iron but only by 1 pt. I don't think it is that.
I'd say it's like depression but without the gloom and doom of it. My brain is alert and thinking of all these great ideas -- nursery, nesting, etc. My body is physically incapable of doing it.
Totally different from pregnancy #1. All the energy and very little initiative.

I was just going to post something similiar. I am absolutley exhausted myself. Trimester 2 was when I had a burst of energy and was in my nesting stage for sure. Now it seems like i am just drained and tired all day. I want to take a nap right now but i am at work so it makes it alittle hard.
I heard the 3rd trimester you usually feel tired. I just had my blood work done today to make sure everything is okay with me since i have an itchy rash. The doctor wants to make sure my liver is functioning properly.
My first pregnancy from what i remember of it (because it was over 11 years ago) I NEVER had any energy but I thought that was just because of my weight issues.
Anyway, I hope you get some energy back as i am hoping the same for me. This isn't fun...

I am right there with you- I think mine is more anxiety related. It sounds like anxiety because of the racing thoughts. I've been struggling with it too. I just look around the house and I feel like I need to do so much but it's so overwhelming to think of physically doing it. I make myself do a little though, just because otherwise I feel lazy! Good luck!

B-12 ok? How do you do your B-12? Sublinguals or a shot?
But yes, I have it.....for real exhaustion. Like can't function out of the bed somedays....like brain can't even think sometimes. I've chalked it up to the effects of my previous malnutrition.....and 4 kids......and pregnancy.....and a little bit of a weak heart that's having to do some extra work to pump for me, the baby and all the extra blood that comes along with pregnancy.
Other than all that, I can't think of what it could be besides maybe B-12.

I am exhausted too! There are some days when I cannot get out of bed. Of course it makes me feel like I am a lazy blob, refusing to do any work, and I feel so bad about it... which probably just compounds the issue!
I am hoping that this resolves after the baby comes (and of course after the first few months of recovery and learning to take care of a baby!)
I think it will though, as this is totally unlike me. For instance, I was just thinking about this today: I used to be able to count on 1 hand how many naps I had taken in the past few YEARS. Now it is an odd day for me to not get in at least 1 nap; and sometimes I get in 2 naps!
Still so tired though. My arms sometimes even feel like they are too heavy to lift above my head. My blood levels are all fine though, and I try to eat really healthy and very regularaly and I also drink a gallon of water per day and try to take a walk a few times per week. So, I dunno!
Hope it gets better though!

I know how you feel. There are days where I just lay in bed thinking, "I need to get up and take my medicine," but I just don't have the energy to do it. Thankfully my husband is quite persistant, and hounds me to get up. But it's so hard to find the engery. If I sit still for even a few mins, I'm falling asleep.
