Mos surgeons recommend 12-24 months. You should be at a stable weight for 6 months at least and have good blood work results.

Hope that this helps!

That being said I was a little over 2 1/2 years out when I got pregnant

BC failed for me, and I became preggo 5 months post-op. I am now 22 weeks preggo with my 4th and it hasn't been an easy journey for me!

I got pregnant 7 months post op and had a miscarriage. Got pregnant again a little over 12 months post op with the baby I am now carrying. Most docs recommend a bare minimum of 12 months. By 12 months my weight had already been pretty steady for almost 6 months so I felt pretty good about getting pregnant at that time. (The 7 month post op was sort of an accident...sort of not).

I'm just now 3 years out (April 23rd), got pregnant last November, 24 weeks now.......and I still think I got pregnant too soon. I just don't feel like I'm able to give her the calories she needs, but she's growing absolutely fine.....she just takes what she needs from me and I end up suffering before she would. That is usually the case no matter how far out you are.....the baby will take what it needs, but doesn't mean that getting pregnant before a year out is healthy for you either and most Dr.'s want you to wait at LEAST a year.....some 18-24 months. I would've never been ready at a year out or even two years out. Am barely ready at 3 years out, but so far it hasn't been so bad.......just horrid nausea and vomiting if I don't take my Zofran.
