Okay...so I had some issues today and I was able to get in to see my new doctor today instead of having to wait until next week. This man is amazing, he addressed every concern that I had. He has never had a patient that had gone through the surgery, but is going to be doing some research between now and then.  My last dr didn't even pay attention to anything I said about this.

He wants me to find out what all I need him to test for nutrients wise.  I know that I need to make sure that my vitamin D, and calcium levels are normal, can you please let me know what I am missing?  I am going to be reaching out to my surgeons office on Monday but whatever information I can gather before then would be great.

Please let me know if you guys know any more that I should have him check out.

Thanks for all your help!

Make sure to have your ZINC checked, I take 3-tablets a day. Vitamin D(I am on 3-hi-dose tabs weekly), Iron (I've had 4 Iron-IV transfusions, so far. My dr said I may have to have the Iron-IV once a month for the rest of my life, so I'm hoping my body gets back to normal after I deliver the baby) protein (mine was so low I had no energy it was a 10 and now I've got it up to 13). I can't think of the other labs my dr does (she checks everything)..... I hope this helps you. Take care

This helps me a lot. I am so excited to have someone who is willing to check on this stuff and is worried about the baby. Glad I decided to change doctors.

thank so much...
