Chrissy ~ I hope you get your bfp swiftly! Good luck and keep us posted okay.

Manda~ Welcome and good luck. A lot of us seem to have progesterone issues...it can help your luteal phase a lot. Good luck.

Sherry-Lynn~ Your chart is looking sweet. Fingers crossed!

Leslie ~ How is it going so far??

Julia ~ I was clomid resistant and never o'd in time. Metformin worked to regulate my cycles...but I had to be on it for about 4 months and higher doses for it to work. Will you move on to injects next?

Mandy ~ So...did you ever get the +opk?

I am going to include a link for you girls for a site on PCOS. http://www.medicinenet.com/polycystic_ovary/article.htm
Just a fyi. You don't need to have all the symptoms. You just have to have irregular or long or annovulatory cycles and another symptom to be diagnosed. Personally I have long cycles/some facial hair on lip/ polycystic ovaries for a time I had brown spots on my cheeks/ and insulin resistance.

Also...just a topic for conversation. I know when I was TTC the road for dh was really hard as well. Lets chat about how your s/o is dealing with all this and how you are coping with ttc in your relationship. The whole point of this post originally was not just to track our cycles, but to talk about hard things that come along with ttc. Gonna try to bring up a topic from now on each week so if you have suggestions pm me okay.

Hi Shari....I go next Thursday to have my  IUD removed.  I have to admit its alittle scary to be back in the ttc journey.  I know there is no way I could temp with the way Matthew sleeps.  So I guess I will just do OPK's or wing it for a few months.  My dh has been wanting to have another since Matthew was born.  He thinks the closer in age the better it will be.  He is all for ttc I guess because he doesn't get "it" as much as he wants when we aren't ttc...lol.  But for the week or so it will be every other day he's already looking forward to "that" week already.

Hi guys.
I wanted to reply to the post. My hubby has been really cool about having #2. I think it's mostly me that wants another baby. He just goes along with it, as he want's to make me happy. Its not that he doesn't love our DD he loves her tons. He is just scared with the way things are for teachers here in California right now. Well lets just say we are praying that he will have more than just part time next year. Darn budget cuts!!!!! Not that the time is ever right....

But on another note. I am scared to move to far away from this post. I am just not sure I will ever get my sticky one. I had my blood work done and my betas are ok and they did double
13 dpo--42 Prog. 20
15 dpo--87
Re is happy with the Prog. level he does not feel we need to add anything. I am getting an ultrasound on May 6th. I will keep you guys posted.

Just wanted to thank you for having this post and being on top of it all.  Had blood work done last month, and my FSH was 18, had it done again last Thurs, not sure what the number turned out to be, I heard it can change from month to month.  On Tues I had a hysterogram, they inserted a catheter and injected saline to see the inside of my uterus, and they found a polyup and a a fibroid in my muscle.  She would like to do surgery to remove them, it might help in this journey.

She put me on BCP to stop my ovulation and to thin my lining for surgery.  Not really having any major symptoms from either one, so going back and forth on whether or not to have them removed.  If thisis a possible chance to conceive, then I guess I will do it.  They are waiting to hear from my insurance, before they schedule anything.  So for now the TTC is off, until I get everything in order.  iIwill keep trying until the end of the year, and then I will probably be done, I will be 41 in about 2 months, and not sure how much further I should go.

Thx again, Kim

We are in the 2WW...but I'm not sure I actually ovulated this cycle.  My temps were not consistent for ovulation, but I did have the ovulation pain.  So, who knows, but we'll see.  I see a new OB/GYN on May 19.  My husband and I have tried to conceive for 7 years with 14 months out following LapBand.  Came off the pill in Oct. 2009.  My regular OB wants me to lose 80 more lbs before she would help me further.  My weight loss has been slow due to some autoimmune diseases.  My mom went through menopause at 36, and I just turned 32 - so my endocrinologist suggested a new OB/GYN.  He said it would be optimal for me to lose more weight, but he is afraid I will run out of time.  Hopefully the new Dr will help!

My husband and I are TTC. We're now at 2WW. I should be able to test by 04/30/10. We did the BD two days in a row after detecting my LH surged. It took us 4 years with our first son Tyler, but I think me being obese had a lot to do with it. I went through 6 months of clomid, no help...saw an RE and found out I had fibroids in my uterus. They removed those and I got pregnant the very next month after surgery. I'm hoping that us TTC this time around won't be so hard. My husband's really scared cause I'm going to be 37 so he thinks of everything that can go wrong due to my "advanced age"...but I tell him to have a little faith :) . Well this month was the first month we started TTC again. I'm hoping my significant weightloss boosted my fertility a bit. I really want a girl...but most of all I just want a healthy baby.
