First things first, my name is Nancy. I had the lap band done June 2008. My husband and I have struggled with infertilty since we married in May 2005. We tried Clomid with no success and thats when I decided to have WLS. I have lost 145 lbs, and we got our BFP on Monday! It was unexpected because we had given up on "trying" , but the best suprise we have ever had. Such a suprise that I ended up taking 6 test because I couldnt believe it :) I have been a long time lurker and glad I can finally join you ladies. We have our first appointment on Tuesday @ 2:30, according to the internet we have an approximate DD of 12/21/10, our little Christmas Miracle!!

CONGRATS!! That is awesome about your pregnancy and your weightloss sucess. I also took about 6 tests..LOL when I found out.
