That is interesting....I have to say I have no desire to ever do them again.  My tummy feels tight enough now and I wouldn't want to hurt it.  I am 7 weeks out , just went back to the gym today(no ab exercises)  for the first time...took it easy.  I go see my PS tomorrow so I will ask him about that.

Party, let me know what he says.  I'm curious and want to go back to ab/core work.

I am 2 years + post Fleur De Lis tummy tuck.  The muscles will stretch a bit over time you will notice.  I do crunches (not a lot) every night before bed and everything feels good again.  Ive always done this both before (and after) my plastics.  It feels good and seems harmless so why not do it... My doctor never told me not to.  And I have seen tummy tucks restretch with weight gain so yes, the tummy can come back.. :) Good luck..

My surgeon said to wait 6 weeks before starting back with Pilates.  I waited the 6 weeks and haven't had any problems and that was almost two years ago.

I am almost 3 months out and no way are my abs ready for any sort of workout. Minor stretching, sure, but since sneezing and coughing still hurt like a bugger, I will wait.
