Has anyone ever done a body wrap?

hello I have never posted a topic on this forum, I have lost over 100 lb's through diet and exercise in the last 3 years, I still have around 47 lb's to reach my goal weight which I plan to get some skin removal consults after that time, I do have quite a bit of hanging fat and skin mostly under my upper arms, my inner and upper thighs and lower belly, I have been looking into detox body wraps as a way to assist my body to release more fat that is under the skin and seems to be going now where, I know some testimonials say that people have lost as much as 20 in. all over after doing several different wraps (like 1 a week for 6 weeks etc.) I get the science of eliminating toxins through the skin, but was just curious about how it would work on someone who has had massive weight loss and and lots of loose skin, wondering if anyone here tried it before going under the knife and what your results were, thanks for any input!      

 I think those wraps just eliminate water and so as soon as your re-hydrate everything comes back. 

I did one years ago and the above poster is correc****er loss and very soon bounced back to normal shape.  I was small back then and really didn't need it but every one else wanted me to try - all I lost was the $50 fee.

I did one once pre-plastics. Its a gimmick. They promise to take off inches. You have to go for several sessions to see any kind of result and when you do its very minimal. Its designed to make your skin look smooth and takes out the water weight. It just comes back though. If you are serious about excess skin removal, plastics is the only way to go because excess skin is something we are stuck with unfortunately. Best of luck.

Thanks for all your input guys! My husband and I are going on a trip to Florida this April so I was looking for something to help before then, I know a body wrap would not be a miracle worker but still thought I would ask....
