24 hours out from abdominoplasty

Hang in there, girl! Those first few days are tough. My PS has been the hardest recovery of any surgery I've ever had. I wasn't mentally prepared for how tough and slow it would be, and my recovery has been without complications at all.

Stay on schedule with your pain meds and let people take care of you. We're here if you need us.

 Thanks Kay. I wasn't anticipating this much discomfort. What worries me is the people who are 4-5 weeks out and still having trouble moving around. I can't imagine feeling this way for weeks and weeks.

DetroitGirl, I'm sorry you're feeling so much discomfort. Try not to worry about what may never be, rather focus on how awesome you're going to look!!!

 I had a boatload of plastics and was getting around really well by three days after my facelift portion of surgery.  Four days out I was going out to lunch and to the movies.

Visualize how easy this is going to be.  Stay positive and keep on your med schedule.  :)
