How did you get home from the hospital?

It is a lucky thing I didn't have any weapons on the ride home from my gastric bypass because I'm sure my husband hit every pothole. I was ready to flip!

When I had my LBL I had a 2 hour ride home and used an SUV with pillows, drugs, and a puke bucket!  It was a nice easy ride home.  (Make sure the SUV has running boards or pack a step stool)

Earlier in the summer I had abdominoplasty and an inner thigh lift....there was no way I could have gotten into an SUV.  I actually called my Mom and asked her to bring my little sports car.  It was a lot easier to get into as I could push the seat back and there was no way I could pick up my leg to get into an SUV.  Also I had a walker in order to get out of the car.

I may have had a few extra potholes along the way, but the journey has been good!

I had a 3+ hour ride home and it was in an SUV with lots of pillows, especially on tummy.  I had TT and implants.  To tell you the truth, I dont remember a minute of it!!  Good drugs are the answer.

Change in plans on the transportation...I decided to hire a Medical Transport company.  I figured since the hospital will be wheeling me out in a wheelchair, I might as well hire the professionals who are used to loading someone in a wheelchair and transporting them by van.  Includes curb service.  Best $85 I will probably spend!
